The Story...

Moses is a little boy who was abandoned in Kafanchan, Nigeria. He is in need of medical care. Unfortunately, doctors in Nigeria do not have the means or ability to provide a complete medical assessment, yet it is likely that Moses has Cerebral Palsy.

Moses has lived most of his life in a Motherless Babies Home. Until recently, he spent all day and night in a dirty steel crib. Meals were scarce, the hot climate could make it unbearable and he had limited contact with people due to fear and lack of information about his condition.

THEY’RE HERE!!

Moses, Na'omi, and Sarah arrived on October 11th, 2009!

Their visas were approved in August, and they have finally arrived. Watch for updated information on this site to come soon.

A welcome party was held on October 25th, 2009. Kenn Wanaku the TribalMonk and American Idol Star Paris Bennett provided the entertainment.

Woodbury High School Benefit

Woodbury High School Seniors in Theresa Von Ruden's Community Outreach Class held a fundraiser for Moses on 03-17-10. Students raised $1500.00 for the Hope For Moses Fund by selling food, Hope for Moses t-shirts, face painting, and holding a silent auction! The event was so much fun, and Moses and Sarah really enjoyed getting to know the students. Special thanks to food donors Classic Pizza, Angelina's Kitchen, and Perkins; Commanding Edge, Inc. for the t-shirts; and the families of Aaron Duffy and Pat Moore for donating the MN Wild tickets. Also, thank you to Kelly Graves who individually raised $240.00 on her own for Moses!
